Word Myth-Buster: “Toilet”

Standard

Word of the Day:

TOILET

What you thought it meant:
“A bathroom fixture consisting of a bowl, usually with a detachable, hinged seat and lid, and a device for flushing with water, used for [bodily waste].” (dictionary.com)

What it really means:
A typically closed bowl of convenient height that, when open, can be leased or rented for the temporary storage of toys.  Toy-let.  (11-month-old toddler)

I was wondering where that toy had gone. Kids digest the silliest things!

My two-year-old forgot to put the lid down after going potty.  Her younger sister happily discovered this fact while Mommy folded laundry in the other room.  She decided to add her own contribution.
